You can delete your account directly from the Plates app:
For your security, if you've been signed in for a while you may be asked to sign out and sign back in before deletion can complete. This confirms it's really you.
Active subscription? Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us. Please include the email address associated with your Plates account. We action verified requests within 30 days.
Email support@myplates.appWhen you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
This action is irreversible. Data cannot be recovered after deletion.
Records that Plates previously wrote to Apple Health or Google Health Connect are copies you own in your platform's Health app, not on our servers. Account deletion does not remove them; use the Health app's own data controls to review and delete anything Plates wrote. Deleting your account also does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription: cancel that separately in your store account settings.
Your account data is deleted from our servers as part of the deletion request, which runs synchronously. Two limited exceptions are retained for app-stability and fraud-prevention purposes and cannot be linked back to your identity after deletion: anonymous crash reports (retained up to 90 days) and pseudonymous subscription-event logs (retained up to 90 days).
