Delete Your Account

In the App

You can delete your account directly from the Plates app:

  1. Open Plates and go to the Profile tab
  2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
  3. Type DELETE to confirm
  4. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

Active subscription? Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please cancel your subscription through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account.

Via Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us. Please include the email address associated with your Plates account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  1. Your user profile (name, email, profile photo)
  2. All workout history and templates
  3. Custom exercises
  4. Gym configurations and plate setups
  5. Body weight and measurement entries
  6. App settings and preferences

This action is irreversible. Data cannot be recovered after deletion.

Data Retention

Account data is deleted immediately from our servers. Cached data in Firebase systems may take up to 30 days to be fully purged. Anonymous crash reports collected before deletion are retained for app stability purposes but cannot be linked back to your account.
